Jordan Hinson
Jordan Hinson, 22 from Great Falls South Carolina is a Class A Teaching Professional here at Edgewater Golf Club. Jordan received his certification to teach from the Professional Golf Teachers and Coaches of America in Myrtle Beach, SC. During his time at the academy Jordan was taught by some of the top teaching professionals on the East Coast including Mitchell A. Crum the director of The United States Golf Schools, and instructor of PGA Tour player Bo Van Pelt, and Chuck Wike the Head Instructor at International Golf Club in Murrells Inlet, SC and the 2005 CPGA Teacher of the year. Jordan started playing the game of golf when he was 5 years old. He was awarded Region 3 1A player of the year his senior year of high school, and competed at the collegiate level for 2 years at the University of South Carolina Lancaster. During his time at USC Lancaster Jordan received an associate degree in Business Management. Jordan is a 2 time Club champion at The Republic Golf Club in Great Falls, SC. Jordan has also had the privilege to work a long side and fine tune his game from some of the top teaching professionals in the State of South Carolina including former PGA Professional Tommy Bailey, Previous PGA member Scott Roberts, and Josh May, Head Professional at Dataw Island Club In Beaufort, SC. Jordan believes that enhancing the knowledge of the golf swing will propel any student to take the next step in his or her golf development. His passion and love for the game along with the knowledge he built on the course during his college career and through PGTCA is what makes him a perfect fit to players of all ages and abilities.
